MGF

MGF-related research examines how muscle responds to mechanical stress and injury. Studies explore IGF-1 variants and cell-growth signals; these findings do not establish that externally administered MGF improves recovery.

Read the findings & sourcesPreclinical evidence

Researchers have measured changes in IGF-1 splice-variant expression after muscle damage in humans and tested synthetic MGF-related E peptides in cell cultures. These are different questions: production of an endogenous transcript is not evidence that externally administered MGF builds muscle. Cell findings do not establish improvements in strength, recovery time or clinical injury repair.
