A small randomized pilot enrolled 22 people with sarcoidosis and symptoms of small-fiber neuropathy. ARA-290, also called cibinetide, was associated with improvement in a neuropathy symptom score over four weeks. This was an exploratory, condition-specific study; it cannot establish broad nerve regeneration or durable relief across other causes of neuropathy.
